Photos taken at the Hu Yu scenic spot to the north-east of Beijing (my favourite place outside the city) early in the morning in October 2006. I am still not too sure of the translation - most likely it's 'Tiger Lake' (though it may be 'Jade Lake' as well)... Naturally, since I was there before surrise, there were not too many people there. Several locals whom I've met on the walking trail reminded me of my home town of Eneabba - everybody smiles and says hello to everybody else... If you would like to visit the area - it's a short side trip when you go to The Great Wall at Badaling, allocate another hour and a half or two for it. Please click on the image to enlarge it. |
