Photos taken in the Fragrant Hills Park in north-east of Beijing in October 2006. The park is only a short taxi ride from the Summer Palace (two previous albums) and it is another place not to be missed. A cable car goes to the very top and one can take it if about 3-4 hour climb cannot be done for some reason... I did take it on the way down (legs did not work too well...) and the views from it are absolutely breathtaking. Again - not a single tourist in sight - particularly on walking trails leading to the summit. I've missed the time when the hills turn red by only a week or two - everything was still more or less green. Also - at about one-third way to the top I've stopped taking photos, as continuous walk up and up was quite an exhausting exercise... Please click on the image to enlarge it.
